Even the concrete ones were full of wood, though it tended to be a bit damp..Cooling towers made out of wood. Big fire, whatever next. :-/

Smart dress only, but it could take the crease out of your trousers..What a great place to hold the Oktoberfest
Smoking jacket or blazer?Smart dress only, but it could take the crease out of your trousers..

Apparently...
There is/has been a planning application for another Hugh wind turbine
Position unclear but within a 2 km radius of Tillington Hall Hotel
Surely 'they' wouldn't plonk one on Doxey Marshes , would they?
Migrating birds and all that?
EDIT
Permission has been granted for two wind turbines, both the height of 15 storey tower blocks
The position is at, or close to the M6 at Seighford Lakes, just up from the Doxey motorway maintenance turn off
The sites are up for auction next month in London, guide price £150,000 each
The turbines are already on site ready to erect
I hope the birds have been told, they might want to put in a counter bid
The costs are not transparent for any of it.This is misleading because costs are not transparent
If the subsidies were put into fat birds rubbing their thighs together that would show as a high percentage too
