Do you have to request the 'back room' on booking or are just put there out of harms way on recommendation from Nishads?......

The back room seems to be made available on a discretionary, ad hoc basis to VIPs - and those likely to frighten off potential customers from the front room.


And, no, I've never asked...

the other week we couldna get in at Nishads so went to the Balti, i went for one of my fave Nishads dishes, Tandori King Prawn Biriyani. it was almost the same as Nishads except it was finished off with a sliced boiled egg.....I just feel that the 'front room is like sitting in someones front room, and i'm not comfortable with that......

I feel sure that a request for an upgrade to the back room wouldn't go unheeded for someone of your obvious standing in the community. If I'd known, then I would have put in a word for you with Abdul last night. Should he not be about, then the lads are fairly amenable types....

Oh, yes indeed. The American delegate was despatched on the first leg of his return journey this afternoon. I presume that the one from Stone got back there last night. The next stages are now agreed by all concerned. Thank you for your concern on this important matter.

A very busy evening in Nishads last night, there seemed to be a lot of GCSE celebrants out and about. I had my usual and mighty fine it was too........

I've just returned from a quadri-national conference which we held in Stafford Balti. It was truly superb food, as always. We felt the need to try the Timothy Taylor's Landlord in the Coach and Horses afterwards. Very nice, too.
