Soooooooo, confession time....

...on Friday, instead of my 1200 calories - I stuffed just under 2000....

.....on Saturday I stuffed into my face, just under 3000.....

.....& on Sunday another just under 2000

:( :( :( :(

However.....

....I still managed to loose 2.2lb so its not all bad. Back on the straight & narrow for me now, although weekends seem to be my let down...

How's everyone else doing?

I eat when I'm hungry, have done most of my life. I'm now a lot heavier than I was when I met my partner, but still under 12 stone at almost 6' tall. I think what helps me is I drink a lot, 2l of water a day is normal during my 8 hour work day. I don't feel hungry when I'm hydrated, plus it balances out the 2l of cider I drink a night ;)

I find drinking (and not) is the key to loosing weight, I drink far too much of the wrong stuff and too little of the good stuff.

Since the beginning of Jan 've cut alcohol out completely on weekdays and switched the wine to Bacardi and diet coke on the weekends.

I'm drinking loads of water and sugar free squash at the mo, I'm just pouring a pint with ice and downing it, about 5 times a day. I once read somewhere that it takes around 80 calories to heat ice cold water up to body temperature, not sure if it's true but I figure it can't hurt.

@Bob - The alcohol has been my downfall, Friday & Saturday are 'treat night' in our house, I only really drink Mulled or Dessert wine (with sugar free lemonade, I know - terrible!) or spirits & very occasionally Cider, all high in calories...I really need to get a grip of myself....just because the OH has some doesn't mean I have to. I've nearly conqured the weekly alcohol - only having a glass if calories allow, but I want to be totally free in the week really.....but old habits die hard...

Generally speaking spirits aren't that bad, vodka for example is very low. A clear spirit with a diet mixer is usually OK.

I ate a whole tub of Ben an jerrys on valentines day ... Mmm peanut buttercup ! Lost 2 pound though ...3 after a wee!

I sometimes have a good old pig out when I've reached a plateau with my weight loss, it seems to help :)
I succumbed to the scales after a week of alternating a 20 minute run and a 45 minute walk and had put on 2lbs! So much for exercise being good for you :(
I did lose 2lbs yesterday though - but then again I did a lot of wees yesterday :)

Woooohooo!

Hen night tomorrow and my New year target was to loose 2 stone and I've done 2st 1lb, I'm so pleased I've altered the next target from half a stone to 10 lbs before the wedding which is in a month.

I've booked a holiday with a group of friends in July and I want another 3 stone 7lbs (2.5 lbs per week) from this point to then and I'll be right where I want to be for the first time in far too many years.

I've all but given up this week, husband & kids are all off & just seem to want to continuously want to eat. Its also playing havoc with my stomach, prunes will be on the menu on Saturday night if nothing changes soon!
