Woooohooo!

Hen night tomorrow and my New year target was to loose 2 stone and I've done 2st 1lb, I'm so pleased I've altered the next target from half a stone to 10 lbs before the wedding which is in a month.

I've booked a holiday with a group of friends in July and I want another 3 stone 7lbs (2.5 lbs per week) from this point to then and I'll be right where I want to be for the first time in far too many years.

Well done Bob - that's brilliant.
I put on 2lbs last week and have lost 4lb this week despite doing exactly the same as I did last week! Must have had more wees ;)

Well done Bob :bravo: Thats brilliant!

Son set me a target of 16lbs in 8 weeks for when he comes home at easter, so I'm trying my best to actually stick to the diet this time and achieve it . Managed 8lbs so far , so if I keep this healthy eating up and keep off the booze and other naughties I should hopefully crack it.

Want to lose over another 2 stone before my hols in June....

I once lost 4 stone (did help being allocated 'Jordan' a NHS personal trainer by my GP at that time ;) ) and vowed to keep it off. But soon piled it back on again once I started pigging out again.

AAAArrrrgh!

Weighed myself this morning and it's not good :(

I did slightly over indulge at the weekend, I blame the wine, enormous meal out then the cooked breakfast at the hotel.

I thought I could reverse some of the damage with a 1 km swim before the breakie but no such luck, target now altered to 14lbs in 4 weeks.

Oooops!

PAH! :( I didn't even want to go weigh myself this morning - I've gained 0.1lb, so not as bad as I thought.

Really pissed off that the OH lost 2lb while stuffing his face all week though!

Can be very easy, depends how much extra you have on how easy it is to shift.

Just checking in to make sure you guys are still alive and haven't wilted away/ died of malnutrition?

I have friends who do the YouTube challenge - every day they choose an exercise video from YouTube to complete - there's loads of 5 minute workouts that don't involve any equipment that can be done in the comfort of your own home (just close the blinds!)

I'm still here, I've not faded away yet!

I had been playing Wii boxing/tennis/zumba/ fit everyday until the OH threw the remote through the tv screen. We are all banned now until the new Wii strap arrives :(

Maybe I'll try the YouTube thing till it gets here! BOF!

I'm still here and I've still not lost any more weight :( It's only 7 weeks before we go on holiday so I've got to lose 2lbs a week before then.
I've done the youtube videos before, I'm going to have to start again I think. I usually do the 30 day shred but it's super hard and when you first start your legs and arms ache like mad for a few days but guess it shows it works.

Have you tried the 5:2 diet thingy?

It actually worked over here..

I'm still here and still on for the 16lbs target by easter that son set me :) . Although he's back home this weekend ,earlier than I anticipated (hubby cocked up the laptop so he's popping home to put it right in exchange for having his mountains of washing washed ) ,so lucky I have been good and losing what he set me each week .

Been doing 30 mins on the exercise bike a few times a week- music blasting and pedalling away in my P.J's to get it over with...a lovely sight :D - as well as the Wii Fitness Coach which got dug out and dusted off from a few years ago..

Still got lots and lots of pounds to shed to reach my target for my hols in June though. Cussing myself for letting it all pile on in the first place :(

*Sulk. I'm having quite a crap week.
I had to have my yearly Diabetic check earlier in the week - Blood sugars too high, cholesterol too high, Blood pressure too high, weight less than last year but more than last summer, & I drink to much (bloody good job I didn't tell her the real amount!) ... moan moan moan moan moan.

So I ask for dietry advice again, & again I'm told not to cut out carbs, but what else should I do - I already don't eat sugar, cake, biscuits, sweets, etc etc etc - & she can't suggest anything other than more exercise.
It doesn't help when the person telling you all this is tubbier than you are either!

I never ever realised how hard this would be. I'm finding that trying to stick to 1200 calories is impossible, especially when I've got a meal out this week, husbands birthday next week & various other family things to go to. This is actually harder than when I gave up smoking (20 a day for nearly 20 years) & I thought I would go into meltdown when I did that!

Grrrrrrr Rant over....

Is anyone skinny and famous doing it? Does it pose a serious risk to your health? Are you guaranteed to see results in 5 SECONDS!?? Is constipation a positive side effect? Does it make you wild eyed and crazed? Does it have a picture of Michelle Kegan on the box?

If not I don't think many people will be interested....
