Don't huff and puff about it?
My phone has kindly woken me up to tell me that Flying Scotsman is being dragged through Stafford this afternoon.
It's due to stop at platform 6 at 1517 for 12 minutes for anyone interested.
20 mins early at Baswich with a 66 on the front
That would explain why we saw nothing when we walked down to Milford.
From the world wild web
Steam locomotive just gone through Creswell, heading north; Clun Castle I believe.
I understand the Flying Scotsman will be coming through Colwich tomorrow morning.
I'm afraid that's all I know - no timings I'm afraid - so if someone who's into those sort of things could confirm ....
I think the train is being pulled from London to Crewe by an elderly electric loco - 86259 - the steam will be attached at Crewe, for the run to Holyhead and back.
Colwich would seem to be somewhere around 8:50 to 9:00am, at a guess.
