Where has this information even came from that homebase is intact closing anyway ?? Or is it just speculation ?

I'm not aware of an official statement about the Stafford store, but, of their 300+ stores, a quarter will be closed by the end of 2017.

I was in Homebase during the week and they had a huge noticeboard up with a rack of vacancies....hardly the actions of a store thats closing....

I think people are just making the assumption that the store will be one of the ones closing.....the sale of the battersea store must of helped the company out some....
