My 1 in 25 "mini Everest" conquered before the tourists awake.

Now off to Haydock for a sit down in the sun watching gee gees.

I could cry. I've had migraine today and had to retreat upstairs for a few hours to reduce it to a bad headache. All the dogs have wanted to do is bark. Husband's solution ignore them and turn up his game.
Then as I try to run daughters bath I find my hot water is knackered. My Mom rings just as this happens and I tell her about it and say daughter can't have a bath for school tomorrow, 'Oh dear' she says, 'you'll have to ring them tomorrow. Oh my programme is on got to go bye'. Cheers for the help Mom :soz:
Cue boiling a big pan of water for a wash down and hair wash, carrying it upstairs with barking milling hounds is not easy. My head is banging again but at least the dogs have shut up.

If that's the path behind the Residential Home I believe that it's a public footpath to join up with the path by the river.

Just driven past and the same signs are on the town side of that path.

I suspect they've put the signs up to stop clause 1 of the Act being imposed. Either way you're extremely unlikely to be prosecuted for trespass if anyone challenges you.

31Dedication of way as highway presumed after public use for 20 years.
(1)Where a way over any land, other than a way of such a character that use of it by the public could not give rise at common law to any presumption of dedication, has been actually enjoyed by the public as of right and without interruption for a full period of 20 years, the way is to be deemed to have been dedicated as a highway unless there is sufficient evidence that there was no intention during that period to dedicate it.

No- one else was taking any notice of it either.... It was blocked off at one time until that nice new path was made

After hubby last night telling me to look up a holiday in the place we stayed last year in Albufeira , and him sending me the free dates this morning that he is able to book off work...
Just spent ages finding the perfect dates and flights, with only 2 suites remaining and limited seats available on the planes. Rang him all excited, with my visa card ready to press the button . " :blah::blah::blah: I'm not booking yet, I want to see what happens with Brexit first ! "

I give up!

Another good mood morning spoilt , now in a fowl mood

If you wait until Brexit is sorted ....dinosaurs will be back in fashion. :heyhey:
That's what I keep saying . Thought he'd come to his senses last night when he said we were going, but we were in the pub at the time though....(He's already rung our insurance company to take the annual policy off automatic renewal this time, but would be much easier to keep it running when it expires in a couple of weeks time though. With all our past and present medical conditions to declare, I'd rather just confirm all the answers to the questions are still the same as usual, rather than spend about another hour going through everything medication and operation dates for a brand new policy!)

I usually get my way in the end, when he agrees that I was actually right all along! Just have to go through all the bloody rigmarole of having an argument about it for a few months first.

Felt so guilty just, even though I wasn't....

Walked to the Co-op earlier this morning and stuck the can of furniture polish I'd bought in my handbag to carry it home. Just realised I needed spuds for tea, so walked back up the Co-op to get some. Stuck my hand in my handbag at the till for my purse and realised the polish was still in there from earlier. :oHad the receipt for it, but thinking to my self "How can I prove that is the actual can on the receipt?"

On the subject of receipts....... I always thought a receipt proved that you had paid for the goods when leaving the shop. What's all this latest "Do you want a receipt?" thing lately (and most people are saying no, even when they have paid by card. I always keep by visa slips to check off on my bank account). Sometimes the assistant has already screwed it up and thrown it in the bin before I can say I want one! Then looks amazed when I say I want it and she has to fish it back out of the bin.

don't mention the blinds
"I usually get my way in the end, when he agrees that I was actually right all along! Just have to go through"

Sounds familiar ......
