Well tell them to get an allotment if you see them doing it again.Couple pot holes in East Gate Street right outside the police station I know they are a problem for motorists but they are dangerous for pedestrians crossing the road too
Had an email through a few days ago with advance warning of the stretch between Castle Street and Broad Eye being closed for resurfacing between 7pm and 7am from 17 - 19th March. Walk that stretch in daylight and you see how bad the surface is.
Recommended diversion during these hours will be via Derrington.
Seriously though, it's getting a bit dangerous with the lumps of debris which have come out of the road to form the potholes now littering the carriageway.
Surely Highways employees can see these things when driving round there so why don't they move the stuff?
Avoid fixmystreet it does not go anywhere, more that report it to scc the better but by phone takes their call centre forever to process emails.

I have used fixed my street on 2 seperate occasions when i queried with them why scc and stoke cc never had report they blamed a map fault so the report never went anywhere.
Go direct to scc and they give you a report number straight that sticks until fixed.
Councils also go and assess pot holes first if its a new one before they categorise 1 to4. While they give a 28 day timeframe on a category3 DfT guidlines state the timeframe success is not illegal and good luck with a cat 4.
My point being why one would wait a week for a email to be processed,
