I am very proud of the fact that I am the reason there is chips, cheese and pitta bread on the menu at Als.

At the end of a session that's all you need......... ;)

although i think im gonna have to introduce chips n cheese sauce to you guys. its even better than chips n gravy.

(bobby- note to you- chubbys on cambridge street in town for the best cheese sauce, but the fellas in aslans on west street are very generous with it if you smile sweetly at them :D)

don't listen to this girl.. for those of you who don't know what she's on about:

vendors in sheffield have something wrong with them - somehow they have got it in their heads that "cheese" = "minging cheese sauce".. if you ask for a cheese burger, it won't actually have any cheese on; it will be drenched in what can only be described as cheese-flavoured molten plastic.. it looks like that nasty stuff you get on nachos at Showcase cinema on J10..

if you ask for chips & cheese, it's the same story.. they don't even make you aware of this when you order - it is "the norm" up here, and you won't find a single place that actually stocks anything resembling cheese..

Arf. Indeed. When I first went in and asked for said food he looked at me like I was a leper. It soon caught on though. ;)

funnily enough, we just had a romance tonight! second one in a week lol - basically because we can't be arsed to do any grocery shopping over xmas..

as per usual, they didn't let us down.. a few minutes late (1hr 10 rather than the quoted 1hr, but he did say "we're very busy and will do our best") but absolutely top notch scran..

the missus had chicken tikka bhuna kebab on naan, which had loads of fresh salad (loads of red onion, which is always a winner in our book), and i opted for the tried & tested cheese burger (again, loads of fresh salad, tomato relish).. chips were done perfectly - crispy on the outside, fluffy in t'middle..

soz to sound like The Romance Official Promotion Board™ but i 'king love the place, and so far they've never let us down!

if you're gonna go for pizza, just use domino's - they are well expensive, but there are always vouchers knocking about (e.g. £10 off) which make it more reasonable.. and they take plastic (unlike the railway ;) ) and always deliver within 20 mins or so!

aye, tbf the first chap i spoke to at romance was very weird.. took half my order, then kept saying "hello? hello?" like he couldn't hear me, despite the fact everything was fine up 'til then.. he hung up, so i rang back and spoke to another guy who immediately knew to which order i was referring, and was very helpful, which makes me think they might have had a special needs work experience guy manning the phones tonight or something lol..

I have a recollection of the battle of Wolverhampton Road, if I'm right, it started around fiveish. I know because I was in one of the shops just next door, "Lads and Dads" at the time. There was a square off going in involving baseball bats, and I just polietely wound my way through the crowd walking to work at the Bowling Alley.

That was before the Romance days I think.

Are any of you overweight?

You do seem to eat a lot of junk food
Went from 32" to 34" waste in mr early 20's and not moved since. Despite having at least two take aways a week and drinking copious amounts of beer & wine.
High metabolic rate I'm told.

I was still a 28" waist when I hit 30, I'm hovering just below 32" now and am 34. I eat lots, but meals are few and far between. I tend to eat once a day if I can be bothered, but that meal is usually a monster.

Aye, it occured at the end of the ninties (don't ask me when, lost a lot of brain cells at the end of that millenium), when it was Oasis.
