Popped up that area earlier, it's amazing how many shops have closed down since the last time I was round there.

A few posts under my belt
I have mentioned this to Rob Halden but if anyone at Stafford FM could mention the fact that Weston Hall is under new management would really help the business as most have cancelled their bookings under the rumour of closure.

In actual fact Weston Hall is now under new management/ownership and shall be much improved having a more meditterranean feel with a tapas bar/grill, new menu's and prices.
Weddings are still being honored and there are many empty slots for meals, room bookings etc obviously due to cancellations.

Hope you can help.

Thanks.

As far as I know we've been mentioning this on air as its changed hands. I'll see what I can do to get an article put up in our news section.

Don't forget to tune in to The Comedy Club with Rob Halden Saturday morning between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

This week Rob will have chat, banter and nonsense with his guests Neil Reading & Paul Savage, they'll discuss all current news and events in the world of comedy, bring you The Gig Guide for all the stand-up comedy you can see in Stafford this week, and he'll be playing clips from some of the best comedians to ever grace a stage.

He will also be generally terrible at working all the high-tech equipment, accidentally play songs in the wrong places and screw up the news on the hour, every hour!

Go to Stafford FM and click 'Listen Now'

Listening now; we just got a little 'shout out' from Ray! Best of luck, this really is a significant step for Stafford radio broadcasting.

It's a shame we still haven't got an official Stafford FM representative on The Forum, so I appreciate you taking the time to get involved personally, MarkyD. You're a credit to the station. :)

Wow, they're really doing a great job of pushing The Forum this morning. Another mention, and a proper plug for the actual site URL. :)

I used to call it the MRI as well, Ray. ;)

Listened on the way to work today - lost reception a mile south of Junction 15 M6. Enjoyed it - some of the music wasn't to my liking but it was good to hear the team talking about the town.

Its also nice to hear some good local businesses advertising on the station.

Congratulations!

Not sure what your expecting in regards to reception distance, but I was able to listen to just before Coven on the way to Wolverhampton yesterday.
