but that scheme also changed the road layout a bit to increase capacity. it was a bit more complex than just laying some fresh tarmac.

you can travel towards Stafford but you can't leave. is the way I read it surely they wouldn't close the 2 main routes out of Stafford in a northerly direction at the same time would they? the diversion route around the road closure is via beaconside. at a time beaconside is scheduled to be reduced to alternate single line traffic due to roadworks there. it could get nasty out there.

Should make travelling to Eccleshall fun then from St Georges.

Go up the Doxey Road, thru Seighford then get back on the Eccleshall Road at Gread Bridgeford. It's the way I'll have go see my sisters.

I've a sister who works for the gas board if you wanna meter......

I have a claim in with SCC because a previously filled in pot hole causes a puddle outside my front door. When cars drive past they splash water up the walls and so one is damp.

Yesterday the solicitors emailed me telling me they were going to close the claim as I couldn't give a date the damage to the vehicle occurred.

It is a skill honed over years - it's not as hard as it might seem, there is no accountability and they know there are no consequences (for them).
