I understand the A34 Stone Rd is back open following the stabbings, arrests and recovery of a sword this morning

A34 Southbound blocked, queuing traffic due to accident, three vehicles involved from A51 (Aston Island, Stone) to The Grove (Aston).

Utter chaos at the Madford / Halfords lights.

Roundabout blocked by traffic that can't get out, stopping traffic from getting in from the A34..

It'll be better when the WAR empties into there, as well....

That might have something to do with the stationary traffic.

Luckily spotted this before I left, went a very strange way to the office but still got there in the time it normally takes to come down the M6

I'm going on a Reunion Jolly in a couple of weeks in Liverpool. I was dreading the journey up via M5/M6. Now I've decided to dump the car with family in Stourbridge and travel to the Pool by train. Then have another day in the fleshpots of Stourbridge on the way back. Means I don't get near the M6 (where there be dragons … )

Haven't been on a train for a few years, sort of looking forward to it. :embarrass:

I notice that, as you turn off the Junction 14 roundabout into Eccleshall Road, there is a sign on the left warning you of "major roadworks" and telling you to "find an alternative route".

On the other side of the road is a sign directing "diverted traffic" to proceed down there.

It must be entertaining for outsiders to encounter that.

Doxey currently cut off from the metropolis by an accident, apparently.
