The Swan Stafford: Brasserie & Restaurant

My boss has been known to just say stuff is possible that his staff are in no position to make possible as well.

I can assure you (both) that it is quite embarrassing on this side of the fence too.
I suppose the difference here Withnail is that I'm prepared to come on a public forum and hold my hands up and apologise if as a company we get it wrong and ultimately I take responsibility for any actions of any of my team. So if it has gone wrong I should have put a process in place to prevent it. Hence keeping Flossietoo happy.

Thanks Chris and all at the Swan for such a good night last night with the band Kalyder in the courtyard. Glad to see so many people enjoying the night although the nice warm night made all the difference

I ♥ cryptic crosswords
Just nipped in for a quick half and none of the real ales are drinkable

And to cap it all, no Guinness now as a back up

Time for a sharp exit

Did I hear the swan is to be involved in some way with the arrival of a defibrillator to the town?

Just a quick update on the Guinness saga - we restocked it back in March due to a total lack of support from them and the opportunity to stock either a product from Freedom Brewery, Abbots Bromley or Marston's at Burton upon Trent.

So now we have our own Staffordshire Stout.

Chris - awhile back you had a local guest Ale: Kinver Sunarise (I think it was) any chance you'll get that in again?

ah, now you mention it i realise i've had this a few times..

every time i go in the swan i have the "pint of guinness please," "we don't have guinness; how about staffordshire stout?" "that sounds lovely, thanks," conversation - you think i'd know by now.. clearly all that stout is clouding my memory :pint:

i love guinness, but put "staffordshire" on something and i'll drink it :stafford:

wanna see my snake?
Can't find a general swan thread? Just wanted to say my mum and step dad stayed there on Saturday night after their wedding and thoroughly enjoyed it. They said the room was great (and huge!), the breakfast was great, the bottle we had put in their room was lovely, basically a glowing review.

So thanks a lot Chris and team :)

Admin Edit: Post moved to correct thread.

Ah, thanks! Didn't show up in the search for me, noticed that a few times lately. Possibly anything prior to the new forum that was copied over and not indexed?

EDIT: Although now it appears?!?!?!
