What's the Posada like these days? I haven't been there since the refit. I hope I'm not too disappointed as the charm of the place was that it was rough around the edges.

They've done a really nice job on the refit, it's been done sympathetically, tastefully & in keeping. The exit to the beer yard has changed - the side exit is no longer accessible and the exit is now through the rear of the building - if you had never been there before you wouldn't realise it was a new addition. I don't know about the men's but the ladies is vastly improved. Still a good atmosphere and nothing overtly untoward has changed- job well done I think!

Talking of Wolves pubs, I quite the Combermere Arms - Especially the full size tree in the toilets! Mind, I haven't been there for a year or two so the Council may have had a chainsaw to it since.
Posada has had a bit of a refit but the character remains the same, they are on Facebook if you do it. They have some pics of the interior up :).

Today I found that the best day to go to the Drs is a wednesday afternoon, and the best day to collect prescriptions from the chemist is also wednesday afternoon - both places are completely empty where they are both usually packed!!!

Come on then people, where are you all, what are you all up to on a wednesday afternoon?

Cake now picked up by strange smiley bloke. He will now be cutting the thinnest slice ever, to share with another smiley man over a cup of coffee. I did offer to go n help serve, but I was knocked back...................:(

240 volts from a cooker socket don't hurt, you go numb.
Sort of, after the first scream of pain, and the pain from the burn mark on your thumb seems to go right through to the little finger, later.

What! 230, I want my 10 volts back, or drop the price by 5%, dam government, just today I had to stop the missus buying some cheese "they" had stolen some of the fat out of it, they say 30% less fat like I should be grateful that they're giving me less!!
