On a website today I read that they saw the Aurora Borealis in Scotland in the last couple of days. Some impressive pictures showing a green northern horizon !! (The Sun has been riddled with Coronal Holes of late.)

I lived in Scotland for 3 years, and one thing I noticed with Scots coming out of the pub at night … everything looks green (ish) !!

What a fantastic day …. Spring is coming !!! Today I saw Colin the Cormorant on Tamar Lake (in order to avoid confusion, I've named all the Cormorants on the lake Colin.) I think he was waiting for his breakfast because I distinctly heard him cackle: "On NO !! … not bloody fish again ?"

Cyclists without lights in thick fog. Two of them in full cycling gear belting along in their car with two bikes on their roof rack.

Not sure if they were cycling motorists or motoring cyclists. Just shows that some people have no road sense and think that their safety is everyone else's responsibility whatever their mode of transport is at the moment.

Mind you, sometimes I have doubts whether some of these people with bikes on their car roofs or boots actually use them. Just shove the bikes in place every so often and drive round trying to convince people that they are into healthy exercise & environmental friendliness
