I'm personally surprised he's been apparent on any photos, he's always been properly camouflaged on the occasions i've met the fellow.

One should always make the effort to blend in.

Woke up this morning to three ducks enjoying some shade in my back garden.
When the other half went to feed them some bread, he opened the back door really slowly worried that he'd scare them off. Instead they charged across the garden demanding food.

A hare. Again. Seen lots of them this year, out and about in the daytime. Aren't they supposed to have magical qualities? They are certainly bewitching.

A driver parked in the car next to me trimming his eyebrows with nail scissors with the aid of his rear view mirror.

Went for a walk with my sister up Seven Springs and clearly heard, rather than saw - a cuckoo. First one of the year for both of us.

The mother heard one in Ireland a few weeks back, but I failed to - can't remember the last time I actually heard one.

I've posted this in wrong bit, should've been in the Today I heard section.
I haven't heard a cuckoo for donkeys years, we'd never walked up SS before, we found it a pleasant walk for 2 old birds that both have hip n back problems. Couldn't hear anything else but the cuckoo.

That is a particularly beautiful corner of the globe, and should be seen (and heard) by as many as can make it there. :)

Out on the MTB last week I passed a bivvy in the trees at the side of the Staffs and Worcs Canal at Tixall
Occupied by a lady with two large dogs!
