Last time I just got hated iceberg, this time no salad at all... Missing my 5 a day....

We also ate outside in the breeze house.

Salmon, baked potato and salad.

I say ‘We” , husband didn’t want a baked potato because he said he needed to lose weight and cut down the carbs. So he just had salmon and salad.
We had a debate (again) because I don’t think carbs are the enemy, part of a balanced diet, it’s what you put on the carbs that make it fattening etc.

So the upside is, he forgoed a healthy potato at 180 calories, low saturated fat, low salt, then gets hungry and eats nearly a whole packet of Walkers sensations Thai sweet chilli peanuts, high fat, high salt, total calories about 600.

Hey ho.

Chippy tea here too!

We went on a wild goose chase to pick up a vintage safe I thought would make an amazing side table / talking piece... Turns out it was a meter squared and weighed about a tonne... Note to self - check the dimensions next time...

We did however get a chippy out of it so not a completely wasted trip!

I've finally just had the chicken soup that was defined for today's lunch.

The menu was decided very early on this morning, when the tin that I opened to replenish breakfast comestibles turned out not to be grapefruit after all.

The OH is away for a weekend shortly (going on a bushcraft course and sleeping outside is allowed apparently) and as he hates Chinese I have already planned to have one. Is EoO the best place to go?

I don't know if it's the best, it's right on the doorstep. We enjoy the food from there. I have a very fussy 30yr old here. If the food was rubbish, he wouldn't eat it x

Collection has now been changed to delivery because of some nobhead with a match on the Common.

Have to wait an extra half hour but not the end of the world, give more time to drink wine.
