What's for dinner/tea?

Chipper*.

Cod and chips.

I may survive until tomorrow now, it's been a hard day.

* A terminological issue - if I told people here I was going to the chippy for my tea, they would think I have been reduced to eating sawdust.

Tonight was a post last night's match Wimpy in an attempt to cheer us up. I'm not sure p jr's 'friend' enjoyed it as much as the rest of us. Wimpy not being a thing in Provence...

An explanation that it was like McDonald's but with a bit more class was received with a Paddington-like stare :|

She didn't leave any on the plate though...

What's your nearest Buffalo Grill like?
I've had experiences ranging from great to awful foodwise but the atmosphere has always been great.

Went out for lunch today … all the way to The Bullring … and had some noodles with beef, rice with belly pork and a few starters and it cost £63 for three of us (2 adults and a 9 year old). Drinks cost £13.

Was good but won’t be rushing back at those prices.
Pho?

Pork steaks, roast spuds for the two of us
Along with Carrot & swede mash, runner beans for me. Smothered in Sainsburys vegetarian gravy.
Everything but the spuds was lovely, don't know what I did wrong with them, they were rank.
