They're both a type of lobby, so my friends in the Potteries tell me.Back to normal food....hurrah! Slow cooked Chicken & veg casserole/stew* with cheesy Herby dumplings.....

No I don't agree, lobbie/Scouse is very different from stew or casserole...lobbie & Scouse has thin watery gravy, horrible, like dishwater...They're both a type of lobby, so my friends in the Potteries tell me.

I would have said that a stew was cooked in a saucepan on a ring while a casserole was cooked in the ovenWhat's the difference between a stew & a casserole.
