Stuffed my face after lunchtimes zumba at the mr sexy zumba instructors ' summer break' party, with cakes and other nibbles . Had to be the one choosing hot chocolate with a mountain of cream , instead of the less calorific tea & coffee! 😂
Don't feel like tonight's hard class now after devouring all those 'naughty but nice' goodies.
Tomorrow night is Mr Sexy's 'drinks in the pub' after his harder class in another village. :heyhey: Got hubby to drop me off & pick me back up so I can enjoy a couple of drinks.

Looks like diet resumes on Friday..

So it's not really a residents parking permit, more a tax for anyone that owns a car that may or may not give them a chance to park locally.

Tyres down for a first offence, milk in the air vents if a repeat offender
You have to supply proof of occupancy to obtain a pass that is valid for the area between the station and the first Doxey Road (old) bridge, just to simplify things. They are petty strict on ticketing you if your pass is out of date, even if it's their fault in delaying issue of said permits!

So maybe they're more likely to visit when they already know residents passes have expired?

Brilliant night! Nice group bonding session in my fairly new (for me) zumba group , after tonight's class in neighbouring village:D.
Instructor bought the drinks, I'd got hubby to give me lifts, so Inches cider was enjoyed!

Don't know if we have any Bill and Ted fans here but I met Alex Winter (Bill) in London last night! I never thought I would ever have the opportunity to meet either of them so I'm absolutely thrilled to have a picture with him.

What do you reckon my chances of getting Keanu to complete the set are...? 😂

The five week drought, with its cloudless skies, is but a distant memory now.

Little chance of wildfires here, but...

...it has been dismal enough to justify a fire in the Shed, using the free wood from the felled cypress last year, after it's been dried in the greenhouse.

It's also been damp enough for this chap to make it right to the centre of the lawn, without any scathing having been sustained.

I shall be having a word with the Thrushes about this slackness!

Well, here is the culmination of this mad few weeks of that artwork going viral. Craig shook my hand as soon as he saw what he was signing (he tweeted it to 354k views last week), Danny took a copy for himself and when Robert added the final signature he said "oh we were talking about this earlier". Even got a last minute "great work" from Chris when posing for this and he spied my shirt.

Nice to feel like I've unintentionally muscled my way in to a (tiny) bit of Red Dwarf history!
