I did consider posting a photo of the cat yesterday, but then, in the end, I decided against it
But, now, on frosty mornings, I have twice woken up with her under the duvet, curled up on my nether regions, for the additional warmth.

I did think that a picture of this arrangement might be just too exciting for the more delicate lady followers of this thread.
That's cheered me up with a good laugh . 🤣I'm now going to have everyone in tonights aquafit class wondering why I keep giggling !

You'll be OK, they'll put it down to the cider...
I've given up from today............. 😁 My first time back to classes for 8 weeks , and knee still not fully healed . I'm going to tell instructor I might have to get out of pool early if hurting too much.....my excuse for getting out if my mind wanders to one comfily curled up puss cat.😸🤣

Some recent pictures of Jude & Jagger. They have been with us for over 4 months now, can't believe they will be a year old soon too.

Mmm, the cat's training programme has accelerated alarmingly.

On Thursday night, I planned to leave the kitchen light on whilst I was out, as a decoy, but I forgot, and returning to turn it back on would probably have risked discovery even more. So, when I returned, I was caught, as I expected and was resigned to. After a brief sojourn in the kitchen, we headed for the bedroom. Having established the right to be under the duvet now, there was felt to be no need to wait until I was asleep, apparently. She was straight in and underneath, as soon as I was in bed. This meant that her final ablutions still needed attending to and there was much "licking of bits" for five minutes. By this time it was past midnight, so it was St Valentine's Day, but none of my bits were involved.

Unusually for me, as probably noted in her observations, I was out early on Saturday night and back at around half-past ten. I thought I might manage it unobserved, as it was out-of-sequence, but, as I put the key in the door, I heard a noise behind and she was sprinting across the gravel like a cheetah auditioning for an Attenborough episode. This time, after a few minutes in the kitchen, I noted that, as we entered the bedroom, I was the second person to enter the bed.

I may have to take precautions about further escalations in the level of control that I'm subject to - such as hiding the car keys, etc.

I was away all day yesterday and, upon returning an hour before dark, I got the impression that I had missed some unusual activity. The cat was in a heightened state of awareness and there was a hint of having had a scuffle, although there were no apparent injuries.

This security status was still in evidence this morning and throughout the day. It seemed to suggest that there had been attempts at border incursions by unauthorised visitors.

At around 4pm today an intruder was seen off at the main gate.

The line was not crossed, or even approached closer than seen in the photo.

I did hear audible warnings issued a couple of times today, but that was the only potential intrusion that I actually witnessed.

My activities yesterday resulted in me being given some cat food that another cat has decided is below standard. We'll see what she thinks of it in a test situation. I will be delivering the cans to her main base, to avoid adding to her sense of ownership here.

Despite being home from work, when I shoulnt be, ginger baby Harry has been a little shit all day long, very naughty getting into all sorts of mischief & trouble, including climbing curtains etc... it's like he knows I'm not well & wants to cause as much trouble as possible
He's usually an angel.

My Piskie dog always seemed to get the huff if I was off work when I'd usually not be home She obviously didn't like her daily routine disturbed . 😂

On the walk yesterday, someone I know revealed herself to be 'more of a cat person, really'. We talked of 'my' cat and me not really being a cat person, but how things get along OK here.

Afterwards, it dawned on me that the reason that all this has happened is because 'my' cat is not really a cat person either. She has to put up with others at the main base, for practical reasons, but she maintains my garden as a cat-free zone at all times.

Just now, as I was thinking about this, we, by means of a pincer movement, successfully repelled a further attempted incursion by the cat seen above.

We are currently getting the fire going in the Shed, with an air of mutual smugness.
