Most of society carry on as they are told and don't question anything. Some are happy with what they are told and do a bit of research.
Increasingly over the last 2 years it has become apparent how may things we've been told to do, without those things being needed.
It's just that I know who will be front of the queue when they tell us we have to stay inside and get more jabs.

So let me get this straight...

You complain that we don't know what is in the vaccine.
The people who made the vaccine tell you what is in the vaccine.
You don't trust the people who made the vaccine to tell you what is in the vaccine because they're the people who made the vaccine.

All of this despite the fact that what they say is in the vaccine is exactly what you "uncovered" as being in the vaccine.

You must know how absolutely batshit crazy that sounds, right? Like just completely bonkers looney head-in-the-clouds, DIY-lobotomy stupid?
See, now you’re learning as to why you’re playing chess with a pigeon

You can checkmate all you want, a pigeon will just knock the pieces over and shit on the board

You gonna explain why you posted the image, or just run and hide from any actual debate as always?

No, we all know he just blindly regurgitates what someone else tells him. I find it's best not to leave such things unchallenged though, otherwise the next person with no research abilities that comes along may also believe.
Maybe, or might challenging them suggest that they're worth considering ?

If worth considering they would be able to form a debate, not a hit and run of random nonsense.

Imagine this scenario. I say that the conservatives are really lizard people here to plunder earth's resources, you ask if I have proof, I not only refuse to mention lizard people again but actively ignore any question you have about lizard people. On what basis do you now think it's worth considering if the conservatives are really intergalactic reptiles?

Belief without proof is religion, not science.

So might the Tories NOT be lizard people ?

Look at the hooded eyes, and the scaly skin. (And I'm not talking about the little green fellah here ....) :P

Less so than ignoring something might give the impression that it's an unanswerable challenge to passers by.

Of course there is some ridiculous nonsense that is worth ignoring but a surprising amount of conspiracy theories begin with just a grain of truth (like that the AZ vaccine really does have a virus from chimpanzees in it) so its worth giving accurate context and explanations in those scenarios.

Again, none of which is really for the benefit of the person actually posting said nonsense (sorry, gilbert).

Of course I apologise profusely to all lizards out there for besmirching their good name, we all know they'd vote green.

Edit: just to say I'm not saying I'm right, science means adapting to new evidence, but I'm not gullible enough to see an image like the above and think there is something to it when even the poster can't provide a word of context. I call Gilbert out to make a point to others reading that he is just throwing anything out there and hoping something will stick. Linking a cold for monkeys to a herpes type virus in multiple animal species is quite a stretch, it's more likely Russia released it to attack NATO :strange:

My nan was told she needed to go to the hospital for a problem with her eye at 3pm yesterday. Due to the hospital having the most staff absences they've experienced since April 2020 right now, the ambulance didn't arrive until midnight and she is still in the ambulance waiting outside the hospital now, 8 hours later.

This is a 98 year old woman.

Many of the staff are off with covid and many others are off due to the stress and trauma caused by what's been demanded of them over the past two years. Gilbert talks about how treating covid patients impacts waiting lists but conveniently ignores how letting it run rampant affects NHS workers and people who need the service on a daily basis.

Both of those scenarios are preventable by keeping the virus under control.

Strip everything back year after year, spend billions on failed emergency facilities and tracking systems and then tell us they can’t afford to re-open wards and services? And you blame a virus and accuse me of ignoring what’s going on!
You muppet!! You conveniently visioned fool!
