We're not but will be saving before. Sweden wasn't massively bad when I went, it was just the wine that was ridiculous.

Craster, Low Newton, Bamburgh and maybe Alnmouth. Those are my fav four. I know Seahouses is popular but I find it choked with traffic, dodgy fast food joints and a lot of motorcyclists!

In a previous life I used to commute to Oman for work every now and then. I always rather liked the place and found the people very friendly. If you're going to drink alcohol you need to be careful you only do it where authorised (and that inevitable means it's bloody expensive) so I never bothered.. Also if you or anyone you may be going with identify as female, you will need to dress 'modestly'.

Was just about to book the Tudor House hotel in Tewkesbury hotel for a couple of nights this weekend......then read that it's supposedly haunted by a dog , and a couple of ladies one of which tucks people into bed
