@Carole I have been thinking similar, I was going to attempt to get it back on topic so here goes

@Tinkerbell_83 welcome to Stafford.
Wolverhampton road is quite a handy area to live, I don't think there are any really bad schools in Stafford and some of them seem to have dramatically peaked and troughed and vice versa in their reputation over the years. If your living central to the town you may be able to get your children into another school if the catchment area school is not suitable.
There are a quite a lot of old threads about where to live in Stafford that you may find useful.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I don't believe that there were any over-subscribed secondary schools in Stafford as of September 2015, so where you live need not necessarily be a bar to where your children go to school.

Some of our schools have better reputations than others but the truth is that none are really bad so what counts more is your feelings when you go and visit them to make your choice. Bottom line is that a bright child, with supportive parent(s) will do well in any school in the town.

In all fairness there are SO many threads asking EXACTLY the same question - many of which are lessthanorequalto* a year old - that the lack of response could just as equally be chalked up to fatigue.

Having said that, Wildwood, obviously.

* why isn't there a lessthanorequalto key on a normal keyboard? - is there an Alt for it?
