Agreed, obesity isn't going to kill you, much in the same way smoking won't but the effects of either scenario on the body is what will get you.

38 stone is horrific though, surely your legs must have real problems holding you up. Instead of a stenna stair lift you'd need one of those coveyor belt scoops that you see in quarries!

My father is knocking on the 30 stone mark and he's really not well as a result, so another 8 stone, which is a small person really, on top of that....

I suffer as well, I don't pay tax but the money spent on them could be used for my free condoms etc. so don't go getting all snobby about being a taxpayer - it's all of our money whether we pay tax or not. And anyway, I still pay VAT on everything...

Well I'm sick of all this "sponger" dissing anyway.

It's all those foreigners you should be slagging off, I was born here so I have a god-given right to sponge off the British "benefits" system and there's nothing you can do about it. I have had someone who was going on about foreigners tell me that I'm allowed to milk the system because I was born here so there. Of course, I think they're full of shit - I thought they were taking all of our jobs instead, LOL...

Anyway, all I have to say on this whole issue is: who fooking cares? You get on with your life, I'll get on with mine. The queen gets far more taxpayers' money than I do and the banks have sucked up more government funding than the "spongers" have. Besides, by getting a job I would be depriving some poor soul who just got made redundant, probably with a mortgage and kids to look after, and I just couldn't live with myself if I took their job.

This was where it all started so I would love someone to explain to me, word by word with explanations, what was wrong with this - because it clearly wasn't designed to start an argument, I'm agreeing FFS...
