The wife had 2 courses of chemo where her hair thinned. Full hair loss wasn't expected but the most recent course which finished in may was on a different type of chemo and it all came out.Noticed this morning hair loss has started to kick in from the chemo. This has come as a bit of a shock, didn't think it would come that quickly. So I'm going to get my Yul Brynner moment it would appear. I've cheered myself up a bit by going online and ordering a hat, in order to turn it into a Raylan Givens moment.
Even so after 50 years as a 'long haired yobbo' it's going to be a bit of a wrench. I'm bloody dreading next weeks chemo session.
SHIT !!!
She got a wig which helped to a point but you still get idiots staring. Hair is growing back and is currently in the "short fluffy" stage...
Hope you get through it in one piece and it starts growing back!!
