Wishing I'd have changed to sons good GP surgery in the first place when moving. Just signed up with them last week, they've got my NHS App working properly again ( after previous surgery cocked it up good and proper) and I've just booked a face to face GP appointment for tomorrow to try to sort me out. Even had a choice of 5 GP's and choice of times!
With new NHS dentist getting me in for checkup within couple of days, as well as hubby's tooth out within 2 days of signing with them as well , seems we're sorted on the health care front 😀

This popped up in my FB memories, thought I'd share it here to canvas opinion:

A friend of mine is causing quite a stir around town with her parking. She has a tiny Smart Car and often parks sideways, with the bumper to the curb and the front facing out into the road. She does this mostly to get into smaller spaces but also because it's much quicker to drive in and out.

Thing is it's completely legal so long as she's within the bounds of the parking area and yet and yet pink-faced men are constantly sending photos of her parking in to local groups and pages and losing their rag.

I don't drive and think that most people who do seem to turn into angry psychopaths as soon as they get behind the wheel so anything that annoys the motoring community is always good with me but what say you?
Company I worked for many moons ago had possibly the first one in the country as a grey import. It got used as the office runaround for a while and, I think, everyone that used it parked like that.

Enjoying a drop of red.

That's the point of them. By parking like that they're actually saving a bit of space for Mr Angry Motorist to park.

They all park like that over here in the Deep South.

Just caught a taxi from town after hubbys 65th birthday night out. Posh car , all lit up with disco lighting inside, driver stinking of weed, but proud of his car . I paid and got out....hubby standing there on pavement "I'm stuck!". How the hell do you get the seat belt wrapped around 2 legs standing on the pavement ??? Took some bloody unravelling ! He's been sent to bed quick to sleep off the rest of his birthday night

Good night out with son & his girlfriend , hubby said "best birthday ever" , but not sure if he'll remember much of it in the morning!

Been up since 6.30am so I could get ready and waiting for full fibre install.
F*ckin pissed off with everything bloody going wrong for us !!!!! Waiting for Kelly Communications to turn up doing the work for City fibre, on behalf of Talk talk. Got text from them today with time slot, didn't turn up. Rang them & said down as ' failed job' and job closed.
Rang Talk Talk..... as far as they were aware job still should be done this morning.
She got onto City Fibre..... they reckon the blokes turned up and we told them we don't want it doing now, as happy with present set up.:o WTF ??? No-one been or contacted us, just had load of texts confirming they were coming.
(They dug a bloody big hole in the porch concrete last week and put the fibre through ready, and said would fill in today once work completed. TalkTalk sent their package of stuff for it yesterday. Why would we turn them away? Ffs )
Either , with it bucketing it down with rain they thought sod the job. Or they went to the wrong house who said they didn't want it doing. Or workman skiving off...

Rescheduled for tomorrow morning now......

Got a bus to town , with intention of getting pie & mash in a pub.... not served til 5pm so had a quick drink elsewhere who don't serve food...still here, 5 pints down and a packet of crisps....good time chatting to locals and forgetting the cider is hitting my empty tum 🤣:pint::pint::pint::pint::pint:
Despite hoping Talk talk contractors turn up tomorrow, hoping they don't turn up too early..

I've often doubted if those forever criticising other motorists driving, or parking, are any better drivers than the rest of us.
And many of those self righteous drivers believe they're exempt from speed limits.
Especially in that story they probably are the bad drivers, can almost guarantee it
