Hadn't been myself for a while, so had a takeaway last week. Much prefer eating in though, always seems much nicer.

Had a lovely meal there again last night, Kcut Mirchi to start, tandoori fish for main and cheese naan. Excellent food and service as ever

Brilliant (very drunken) night last night here, I think I converted those on my table to go there every time.

Went last Saturday evening, not been for a while due to house move etc, and had a fantastic meal. Cannot not praise Narvana enough and it was great to see it so busy.

Going again this Friday with the girls, better get a table booked, do not what 10 hungry, disappointed ladies storming around town!!! ;)

Had another meal at Narvarna last night, and I think it was actually the best yet. Everything was obviously freshly made (inlcuding the naan- yummy) and tasted delicious. Staff were as friendly as ever too.

The restaurant was completely full as well, advance booking only. I'm really pleased to see this restaurant doing so well for itself - long may it last!

Its great to see someone succeed in that place, very few have lasted a year! Gotta wonder what the difference is between them and Karma II though? I found the old place great, can't decide if Narvana is better but its certainly as good. I thought the own drinks plan was suicide, they must have accounted for a lot of the profit, , but suspect this may be the secret of their recent success. Half the Indians with bars don't even sell cider, let alone a decent one, so it is a big difference being able to take my own in.

innit, i would say one of the key factors in narvana's success is the BYOB option.. if ever we fancy a meal out, it's usually the cost of drinks that puts us off, and so we end up settling for a takeaway or (god forbid) a nice home-cooked meal instead, so the fact we can bring a bottle of cheap plonk to narvana is a right touch..

i dare say many people bring a bottle with them, but end up buying a couple of drinks on top anyway (especially if they are part of a large party)..

regardless, i totes agree with what you're saying - every time i go in there it is pretty much rammo, and someone i'm with always comments about how happy they are to see the place flourishing because they don't want it to go anywhere!

I've discovered Narvana's shiny new website today http://www.narvana.co.uk/

Including testimonials from this very website! :)

No mention of the BYOB option though- if anyone from Narvana is reading this, it might get a few more people through the door.

Had a delivery from Narvana on Friday night.

Popadoms and accompaniments were great, as was my Chicken Moglai, the pilau rice and the garlic naan.

Unfortunately SWMBO's saag paneer korma was burnt and tasted as such.... so unfortunately her meal was not enjoyed at all.

please tell me not.. narvana is without question the best indian i have ever been too, i would be absolutely gutted if it closed - or even if it re-opened and wasn't quite as good :(

every time we're in there we comment on how busy it seems, all the time - surely they're doing well?? gonna have to ask mo next time we're in there :|

Tenancy agreements:
Tenancy agreements are available for inspection by appointment. HMO units are let on an AST basis. The restaurant is let on a 25 year lease (Landlord and Tenant Act 1954) which commenced in 2011 with regular rent review clauses.

It looks like its the building up for sale with the restaurant safe. Hopefully.

Thank the deity of your choice for that! Not been in ages, my other half is always on a bloody diet and won't eat out, but I'd be gutted if it went. Will have to just go in on my own!
