When down to Queens retail park this afternoon. I think I'll give it a miss until the roadworks are all finished now. When I arrived the exit queue was all the way to Next.

not sure why, it was very bad today, no temporary lights, quicker getting to Weeping Cross going down Weston Road, past crem, through Tixall through Milford Walton Baswich, than it is down queensville

The cops say:-

"
❌
ROAD CLOSURE
❌
Baswich bridges are closed both ways due to a burst pipe causing damage to the bridge. The closure will be in place for up to 3 days. Please find alternative routes."

I'm not clear which of the four bridges it is, if you wanted to go anywhere along the affected section.

With them putting bridges I would take that to mean the whole stretch between Tilcon Avenue and St Thomas Lane.

Presumably, but if the issue is on the railway bridge, then everything reverses...

And there are people living along there.
Comments on Facebook are saying it's the railway bridge and Roadworks.org has the marker there too.

Also means HGV etc can't access Tilcon Avenue.

Timeline for the repair is unknown. Potentially days or weeks.

Tenterbanks between the roundabouts by the college is closed. No warning signs until you get there.

update on upcoming changes to traffic management at the Beaconside / Redhill Roundabout.
Beaconside:
As you are aware, the temporary traffic signals have been moved to the junction with Andrus Way and the western leg of Parkside Avenue. This has created a four way set up, which due to safety concerns, required the closure of certain turning points.
This change was due to works being undertaken on the old access road into the development, Newbold Drive, which needed to be closed for the works to be carried out. These works were expected to take 18 weeks but due to concerns that this could increase due to services located along this section of the new development, McPhillips and Taylor Wimpey have revisited their plans. The plans have now been amended to allow for the Newbold Drive junction to be resurfaced so traffic can use this without the need for Andrus way. Therefore as of 9 February the Newbold Drive junction will be back open for use and the traffic management arrangements will return to the previous set up of three way signals with a crossing facility for pedestrians and the four way set up and no right turns onto Parkside will be removed.
Redhill Roundabout:
The works on Redhill Roundabout will continue with works now taking place on the south western quadrant of the roundabout. This does unfortunately mean that there will be a northbound closure of the A34 Stone Road on approach to Redhill Roundabout with traffic being diverted along the Eccleshall Road to the M6 roundabout and then along the A34 link road back to Redhill. This was originally planned for six weeks however, due to some works being able to be undertaken without the need of the closure, this has now been shortened to a three week closure.
Advanced warning signs will be installed on the approach to the Eccleshall Road/Stone Road roundabout and also at Holmcroft Road junction to ensure vehicles have plenty of opportunities to divert before getting to the closure.
The above are the current proposals and timescales however, any changes to this will be communicated via McPhillips/Taylor Wimpey.

Can you pop a notice on regarding the station roadworks?
I work at the station
The current parking situation is 20min free in the multistorey for short stay.
Drop off zone is now past the bus stop on the left behind the taxi rank (opposite the mercedes garage) this is NO parking, just drop off/pick up.
The old short stay is closed and the access road is for MULTI STOREY ONLY (or hgv deliveries)
This is all sign posted but people arent reading/understanding and its creating chaos with people attempting to back out/do 3 point turns to get back out of the access road
