Work on a £1.4 million roads scheme along a major route in Staffordshire is reaching its final phase.www.expressandstar.com
Youngest (Jesus looking thing) reckons 2 weeks and the main bit of the Pets at Home roundabout will be done. Then 2 more weeks for faffing and it should be finished. That's what he's been told at work.
I feel that 'i told you so' has been overused therefore I'll just sayMaybe they were told how long in dog weeks.

Anyone stuck in that won't be having an offally good time, I don't suppose.National Highways: West Midlands

2 (of 4) lanes are closed on the #M6 in #Staffordshire northbound between J14 & J15 due to a spillage of offal. Delays of at least 55 minutes above normal travel times and 5 miles of congestion on approach. Please allow extra time for your journey. Thank you for your patience.
I was in Offaly for about 300 yards of last Sunday's expedition.Anyone stuck in that won't be having an offally good time, I don't suppose.
Sure the signage said works would last 6 months which takes us to the end of August.anyone know how long the a34 stone roads is going to be closed for the resurfacing?
A449 closed Near Penkridge. Blaze either from a lorry in a layby or nearby building
Shocking queueing along the A34 towards Stafford recently- literally queueing from the top of Yarlet bank all the way to the Redhill roundabout. I suppose the dual carriageway reduced to one lane around Pets at Home roundabout, the A34 into Stafford closed & drivers blocking entry into the Redhill roundabout doesn't help. Almost gave up. When do the Redhill roundabout roadworks start - converting it into 3 lanes and installing traffic lights? I guess that'll be an 18 month rather than a 6 week job?
Vive les vacances.Stafford seems to have entered roadwork season. If you travel from around Wildwood area to Parkside like I did the other day then depending on route you'll either get stuck in 4 sets of roadworks or just 2 if you avoid Black heath lane and Weeping Cross. Utterly ridiculous.
I wouldn't mind if it was in our benefit, ie. road improvements.
