How much did we spend on something 'hardly worth moaning about'?
I don't want to think about it!
We seem able to manage part-time lights on much busier junctions. I have transitted it four times and sat there watching the light-show whilst nobody passed through. Maybe, when the herd stampede twice a day, it might perform some useful improvement but, most of the time, it's just a pointless random obstruction.
Tis half term though...!
Schools finish in Ireland on Thursday - until September...!
Ah that I did not know. Perhaps best to report back in a week or two then!
I'm normally going through there about 8:15-8:30ish. It was always backed up in creswell - at least to the first left hand turn after the 50 signs usually a lot further than that. perhaps it is just for a short time and goes down when you get there shoes. I've not noticed a difference with the lights but have not been looking so may have missed it's effects.
Was awesome this morning. 15 minutes to work instead of 30! I love school holidays!
Ive just found out my new Mercedes doesnt have a dipstick
They will send me an email when the oil runs low
then just add 1 litre....
the last green light before creswell has been hit by something. can barely see the light! wonder if someone took out their frustation on it...
Are you sure about that, Rodney?
Actually, I have seen it suggested that they have just plugged the hole and that a retro-re-fit may be possible.
DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?

Haven't seen these yet... But I already disagree with henryscat.
So how long will it be before the lights are removed as a bad idea?
As soon as Gt Bridgeford and Eccy are obliterated...
You can always tell when a new road junction or set of lights is a bad idea when there are a large amount of skid marks left on the road surface. Quite scary that some of them continue across the white line and into the junction.
