Yay Just about to post that it looks like it's back open .Noticed a big difference in the traffic as I was walking back from town , then noticed the diversion signs , that had still been there earlier today , had gone .THE BRIDGE IS NOW OPEN!
Yes but they have to park their vans on the road. Are they determined not to have the traffic flowing??? Lights on Blackheath lane, and the works were actually on the grass verge and not on the road as hubby came past...
Whats it like on Beaconside nowadays , going from Marston road towards Stone road Islands (Redhill? )?
Normally go down to Lloyds Island and back up the Eccleshall road to the motorway, but AA live traffic website is showing problems around that part at the moment ....
It can be very difficult, especially at in/out times.Whats it like on Beaconside nowadays , going from Marston road towards Stone road Islands (Redhill? )?

Glad I asked on here before setting off. Had a good 13 minute journey from Astonfields to J13 via W'ton Rd at midday, rather than jumping on at J14 as I usually do from hubbys work.Goddamit! Flipping cones again on Lloyds Island at 12.30 - took me 20 minutes to get home again!!!
Should we not mention the third part of the joke...
I was supposed to go to see an old dear in Brooklands today - gave up.
One car per (very slow) lights change out of Browning Street.
Looked at Rowley Street - queue back to Marston Road.
Beaconside (north end) doesn't exist in my world any more.
Came home.
Changed plans and went to Ranton and back - via Doxey.
