When we were there the Red bar was heaving - but I've also not been that side of the building in a long time.

They did use to open for breakfast and lunches but I'm not sure they still do - I have been for a private dinner upstairs and our American hosts were amazed at the quality and service for a very small bill at the end of the evening (dinner for 30 of us with a lot of booze) - very attentive staff and decent quality food too.

Who the hell awarded it Staffordshire restaurant of the year? It was fine but no way was it the best in Staffordshire, not by a long, long way.

Yes, it is an interesting point. The awards seem to be shared around establishments on a bi - annual basis. It is a shame as they would have been odds on to win in 2016 if they had not shut.

Oh boy, just now I had to go into my old posts to find this thread, simply typing in post house or Post House or The Post House into the search bar, didn't work.
@Admin !!(?)

Anyway, anyone here know what's happening with the Post House?

I've tried ringing at different times of the day, I've tried emailing and nothing. I'm trying to book a table, I'm going out my way to try and give them some money but I'm getting the feeling that they don't want to know.

Is someone keeping this as a hobby, more than a business?

The post house has been brought by two (former?) directors of Casa. I suspect they are now going through a period of transition and establishing how to take the business forward.

The Post House is a fantastic venue and has huge potential but I don't believe it has been managed as well as it should / could have been.

So, the vouchers I have had since December, will no doubt not be able to be used when they eventually open up this place again.

Typing post house into the search and clicking Search Titles Only should bring up a few Post House related threads.

Depending upon how you've arrived at the Search, you might need/like to uncheck Search this thread only & Search this forum only.

Being part of the old(er) generation, I'm going to sound like I'm part of the young(er) generation by saying; that sounds like too much hard work to me G!

...search button man, its bruk init tho.
