was he the CDT teacher? man i can barely remember. i just realised its almost 15 years since i left. thats a bit disconcerting.

Yeah he was funny. I remember being quite disruptive in his science class. He was 70's in fact i think he even had the leather elbow patches! :rofl:

oh yeah that twunt! i like mr sartin though, even he did take the piss out of me when i had to go in there when i was on 'desk duty', and he looked like this.

Not only did BBC's old man teach me at Blesso's but so did Andreas Rex's. Both had the perfect approach to teaching, show them respect and they, in turn, would respect you. stepping out of line was not an option. there were other goods teachers such as 'ape man' Cotterill and Kovo was great entertainment. There were also plenty I truly despised including fishy bickley, cunion, rice crispy face and turnbull.

On our very last day at Blesso's My Lister (Head) gathered us for an emergency assembly and warned that if we threw any first years' in the river (annual tradition) we would be expelled. That's right, on our very last day there. He also said we were the worst year in the history of the school which generated a massive round of applause from us pupils. I do miss school...

Mr Lister drinks in the railway now. Seems to have mellowed with age. Still calls me by my brothers name though!

there seems to be a running theme that retired teachers from BWH spend all their time in the boozer.

maybe we could have a teacher spotting thread on the forum. Which boozer did you see an ex teacher in or somethin'.

washo also drinks up north end in the greyhound, he said hello to me on saturday night. not sure if he really remembers me however, he was putting a fair few away.

talking of sozzled teachers, mr barrat had to be the most conspicuous. he was pissed by first break, had a sneaky bottle of whisky in his filing cabinet.

I seen mine and Andreas Rex's Dad in quite a few pubs over the years! In fact i've carried them out of a couple :)
