What school did you go to?

BBC

You knows it
mine was a smooth transition from St Anne's primary to blesso's. I found out the other week that a girl in my year is now the reception teacher at St Anne's which obviously made me feel like a right old git :)

Aha! http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bumbaclaat
Interesting...
hmm...not entirely sure this is the definition dirtybobby was meaning!
well, that's the etymological definition, but the word has been overused to the point of parody by drum n bass MCs and the like, so now it is essentially a meaningless adjective.. much like bludclaat, rassclatt (both of which have arguably worse definitions than bumbaclaat), etc..

[trisha] kiss me teef me likkle bumbaclaats! bogle bogle! [/trisha]

as far as i'm aware, there's no "correct" spelling as such.. patois by definition is a provincial form of speech, and thus doesn't have strict rules defining the spelling of its colloquialisms..

now shut ya fassyhole mout up an bring me some fried bumbaclaat chicken, seen! :teef:

I had the pleasure to have been taught French by your mum, (well lets be honest, she attempted to contain my aberrant behaviour, succesfully I might add, she was quite fearsome at times. And despite this I developed a distinct crush! I'll save you the details. All I'll say in my defence is that I was far from being alone in this prediliction, and your mum has popped into conversations with male friends on more than one occaision over the subsequent years.)

You probably didn't want to hear any of that, I apologise unreservedly. I will now retire to consider my future on this forum.
oh my god...i have the hangover from hell today and that has just made my day!!!!!

well, the lovely lyn has now retired and is a proud reborn soap dodger after getting an unconditional offer to staffs uni to study art and art history.

im well proud of her and im even prouder to know that she was the object of teenage affections in her younger days. (at least i feel a bit less dirty about having a major crush on mr 'i can only walk like a gorilla with a banana shoved up my arse' davies for the entirety of my time at walton)

welcome gon2seed and thank you for enlivening what can only be described as a day from hell at the mo.
