    Absolutely the same here.
I did find in the cupboard my Brexit hoard.
A Maggi Butter Chicken Spice thing.

Oh my goodness, totally cheating but it was absolutely gorgeous.

I did redeem myself by cooking up some jersey royals/onion, garlic, spinach and then making Saag Aloo from scratch.

Ended up putting it with some chorizo and a tin of tomatoes and having it with pasta.

I had a fry-up for tea, but I have this in the Chalet oven for supper.

It's the Lidl run tomorrow and I need fridge space - plus the 'date issue'...

It is actually from a long way east - Tallaght.

We also couldn't be both bothered today, we were both off work, and both though we had taken something out of the freezer for tea... But no, so we ended up with a Aldi lasagne... Aldi is usually tasty, but not this one....

Pie & mash. Shop bought pie, red potato mash. Shop bought Carrot & Sweede mash that was taking up room in the freezer.

    ... Roll on curry night.

Inspired by @That-Crazy-Rat-Lady, instead of fishy-fryday, we had Chinese takeaway! Yum.

    And a fortune cookie.

Husband ate leftover Chinese so I had to invent something that didn't use up ingredients for meals I have planned!

I went for 'Indian Jacket Potatoes' exactly as it sounds! Onions, garlic and chills fried with some tika spice seasoning plus half a tin of tomatoes! Topped with toasted pumpkin seeds ( I'm addicted! )

Was surprisingly good - really hit the spot!

Fry up tonight as p jr and I are away from home for the night. Sausages, bacon, black pud, hash browns, eggs, mushrooms and to ensure that full on cardiac emergency, fried bread. Washed down with the obligatory red for me and some 7Up for jnr. To follow will be some homemade (yesterday) lemon meringue pie.

Well we did cycle 75km around Shropshire today so we deserve it.

Excellent idea. You’ve had your breakfast tonight to save time in the morning.

    This was tea tonight:

    https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/beetroot-lentil-tabbouleh

It was NOT a hit, I liked it but husband was not impressed.

I also forgot he doesn't like raw apple! Despite the fact he is a human dustbin it's the one thing he won't eat! Oops!

It would be nice as a side rather than main, any suggestions for what it could go with??

I Love Tabbouleh salad, although I admit I only ever buy the ready made (Sainsburys) one. We usually have it as a side with quiche and salad, or as a side with any summertime buffet food.

MrLittleme got to choose tea as its Fathers day.... Not my choice, but he wanted my home made Macceroni Cheese.... Its not your average Maceroni cheese, its laden with garlic, onion, chorizo, and has a crunchy cheese and breadcrumb (au gratin) topping...

Victoria Sponge & cream for afters.

I've got the difibralater on stand by, fingers crossed....
