Looks as though it is Davenports who have got the Butlers. Hoping to reopen on 31 Oct. Minimal refurbishment but having to replace all the beer lines & coolers as Wetherspoons are taking theirs with them.

Enjoying a drop of red.

I understood that the Littleton Arms was to be a Davenports pub but none of their beers were on when I went there.

Telling that the Butlers Bell is now closed, the Picturehouse is temporarily closed and there's 2 customers in Munch and Slurp... 🤷‍♂️

They were handing out Wetherspoons gift cards as a loyalty reward to customers in the Bellend yesterday.

You didn't even need to be a regular Spoons customer to get one!!

Quite a big building, I hope whoever comes in does well that end of town....not the best

Unless it's a chain with a lot of money behind them ? Ohh "Davenports" have 99 locations in Birmingham apparently, this will be the first outside birmingham,

In a few years it might be a good location with all the flats being built in town (Guild-hall Co-op)

Well that's if people can afford it probably will be 6 pound a pint then and silly rent costs no doubt for being located in town... and the fact if you can afford it you're probably traveling outside of stafford for a decent job so don't have so much spare time...

Most office jobs can be done from home, but then why live in a flat?
