The bigger tyres will mean your speedo will read lower than actual speed. As it’s only the profile & not the tyre/wheel diameter it won’t make a massive difference but something to be aware of, measure the circumference of the tyres to get the percentage difference. Assuming they’re both the same models they’ll both actually fit ok. Obviously fit all 4.
P. S. If you’re actually scrapping the car try advertising it on Facebook etc as “spares or repair”. The used to be a lucrative market for those type of vehicles a couple years ago although I haven’t been involved for a couple years. Worth a look at least.

Another P. S. I’ve just seen your post about the Leaf. The bigger tyres may not fit but the transmission etc will be set up for the original tyres so probably best not to bother.
Yeah, we just let the insurance guys take it in the end. Sad to see it go though

This is the perfect example of how women's trousers should be..... Some of our trousers have pockets... These pockets are so small that you can barely get your fingertips in there...

...why can't we have many pockets, deep enough to carry a phone, keys ,wallet and various tools and change??????

ITS NOT farking FAIR....I WANT MAN POCKETS.

Is it worth paying to get tyres swapped between 2 cars? Any idea what it costs? Now we're getting rid of my trusty focus (which I'm not sure I want to TBH, it's been a great car, but we need bigger) it has a decent set of michelins on that would fit the leaf. Thing is that'd be paying for 8 wheels to be removed and refitted, does anyone even do this and any idea on cost? May be more cost effective to just get new ones for the leaf but even though the focus is still going great I'm not likely to get much for it so stealing the tyres is tempting!

Now got an i40 estate to go alongside the leaf, lovely car but compared to the focus not as fuel efficient by far.

I absolutely love my Focus Estate Bob. Couldn't tell you the fuel efficiency for love nor money. It's a 2013 1.6 TDi Econetic. The most I do each year is 5.000 miles in it. Apart from normal wear and tear, new battery. He owes me nothing. Hoping to keep him as long as possible, but given his age, there's every chance things will start to go wrong.
Can't remember the last time he had a wash and brush up, more toast crumbs on the dash board than is at the Warburtons factory,
