I was acknowledging your knowledge in a knowledgeable way.I was being sarcastic. A lot of people don't realise we'd be working 6 and a half days a week without them.

Ooops I'm doing something wrong, only working 6 days this week...I was being sarcastic. A lot of people don't realise we'd be working 6 and a half days a week without them.
I used to misunderstand unions, then I needed one. An employer decided I was paid too much and wanted to take 10k off my wages to give to someone else, effectively swapping our wages. My choice was accept or resign, with the unions help I instead got her wages raised by 5k and mine the same.Membership of a Trade Union should carry a 10 year prison sentence (hard labour) followed by deportation to North Korea.
I've had cause to use the union at work twice, without it, I would have been hung, drawn and quartered for no reason long ago.I used to misunderstand unions, then I needed one. What, in your eyes, should I have done instead?
Unions have helped me enormously.I've had cause to use the union at work twice, without it, I would have been hung, drawn and quartered for no reason long ago.
They normally go for the hands next Bob. Followed by the neck.................Had to go into the Stratton Medical centre this morning for a blood test prior to chemo on Thursday. The problem is my veins have learned to hide when needles appear. Starting on the left arm the lady got one phial out and then the hole went dry. She needs two phials for these tests so she moved the rig to the right arm, and just about managed to get enough for the test.
NOW I'VE GOT TWO EMPTY ARMS .....
Windowless Carriages - Branson was nearly there with his Pendolinos.
( Commenting on the next one would be 'off topic' )

I don't know why they don't go for the ear lobes. Whenever I've so much as nicked mine, seemingly gallons of blood have poured out. They normally go for the hands next Bob. Followed by the neck.................

I've got one slightly fuller arm, due to carrying the cordless phone on me in the front garden, waiting for the tip-off of a wood delivery - this requires me to have about 30 minutes warning, to create access, etc.NOW I'VE GOT TWO EMPTY ARMS .....
