Remember it well. I got some fab original 50's silver winklepickers from there and a 60's dressing gown I loved so much I wore it til it fell apartGramaisc said:The record shop that was there was called Good Deals at that time and has since moved up to Wolverhampton Road and is now called Collectable Records. It is run by Tim these days as Phil lives in the States now, but returns fairly regularly. In the Bailey's Yard days there was space in the shop for a couple of pinball machines as well.MsPlaced said:Anyone else remember 'Rags and Tatters' in that yard down the side alley near the Odeon? There was always an interesting array of little shops there, which have all disappeared over the years.
There was also B Sharp clothing - for those who cared what they looked like.
I see Malclolm now and then, and will pass on your comment - if he isn't on here incognito!MsPlaced said:Remember it well. I got some fab original 50's silver winklepickers from there and a 60's dressing gown I loved so much I wore it til it fell apart
