That's disappointing.Very disappointed with Vivere last night. No vegan options on the menu but they were happy to remove cheese when making our food. All for the same price as 'with cheese' of course
...that's all we're getting from ya?Interesting article in this week's New Scientist on turning vegan.

Thanks. It is very supportive of veganism and points also out the problems (mainly obtaining adequate levels of some minerals, vitamins & amino acids) and the hidden animal products; not just gelatin but also animal products in tattoo inks, make-up & other brushes, shampoos & conditionrs, soaps, silk, toothpaste, fabric softeners ...
Thanks. ...now, to get my hands on that article.

A congregation of idiots.That's disappointing.
A Pit PirateA congregation of idiots.
Like a murder of crows.
If only you'd posted it yesterday morning, I might have been tempted. Instead we went to somewhere just down the road ("The Lounge") where I had something that may have qualified as vegan - a baked potato with baked beans. I refused the cheese topping and the butter though I'm afraid (slapped wrists) I had the coleslaw. (If I'd been going vegan, refusing the coleslaw wouldn't have been a problem as it's something I can take or leave. #EveryLittleHelps)Little further a field but well worth a visit:

How about this one? i've kept it thumbnail-y so click if you dare!
Low-res i know.
I had seen this image recently, i really had no idea this happened but then i never really thought about the hows and whys, during those times i was eating their little body parts.
It's obvious now, these animals in order to be manipulated by us have to be put in their place and stop them from attacking one another, this is what is happening here. Machines have been made for this process.
Look at their little faces, the ones you can see anyways!!
Anyone care to guess what is happening here?
